Skill Building Classes

High School DiplomaImprove your reading, writing and math skills to help you pass employment eligibility tests or meet your personal goals. Morning and evening classes are available.

High School Diploma

High School DiplomaComplete the classes you need to receive your high school diploma. Direct instruction and online classes are available for English, government, economics, algebra, math, science, history and electives. Morning and evening classes, independent study,
and online classes are available.

High School Equivalency (GED or HiSET Prep Classes)

High School EquivalencyStudents who do not have transcripts from their previous school or who need more than 60 credits to earn their high school diploma may opt to take their GED or HiSET high school equivalency (HSE) test.  The High School Equivalency Certificate or a high school diploma are required for federal financial aid for post- secondary education or training.

Orientation and Registration

  • Students who are not currently enrolled in classes must attend orientation.
  • Register for Orientation.

Classes

Classes meet at the Loma Vista Adult Center.

  • Spring Classes run March 18, 2019 – May 31, 2019
  • Fall Classes begin September 3, 2019

Independent Study and online classes available. College and Career transition support available to students attending classes.
