Office Apps

Many offices use Microsoft applications. This course will cover beginning and intermediate skills for Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email, and Windows 10. 

The course will prepare you to work in a variety of office settings.

Program Objectives

  • Provide students with opportunities to learn essential computer applications for entry-level employment. 
  • Offer resources for students to update and improve computer skills to assist in job advancement. 
  • Develop employment competencies commonly required in business. 

Program Requirements for graduation

  • Meets the minimum attendance requirements.
  • Satisfactorily complete all assignments.
  • Maintain at least an 80% on skills, assignments, assessments, and participation.
  • Obtain a minimum keyboarding speed of 25 nwpm.

Program information

HS Diploma or GED and health insurance are required.

Starts October 2020
8:30am-Noon T / TH   (Subject to Change)
Min. required 4 lab hours per week

Tuition: $1,217.00

Includes fee to take the Microsoft Certification Exams.

Steps to Enroll

  • Complete Online Orientation.

  • Complete Keyboarding Speed Test. 

  • Make an ASAP account, if needed.

  • Enroll in the program after all admission requirements are completed.

  • Pay for the program:

    • Pay using ASAP.

    • If a payment plan is desired, call 925-685-7340, ext. 6730, to make appointment to enroll, set up plan, make first payment, and sign enrollment agreement.
